We had a close call at the farm yesterday. The Kyneton fire went through the bottom of our property and damaged about 30 acres along with a large amount of fencing which we had only recently completed.
Thankfully and most importantly all of us escaped without incident and all horses are fine. We have a little work to do restoring fences but we are very grateful that this is all we need to do! There are properties around us who weren’t so lucky with one house destroyed.
